The Bowman Eagles flight club was established in January, 2003 by several EAA Chapter 110 members who are “taildragger” aircraft enthusiasts, including EAA Chapter 110 founding member Howard Edwards. This group of aviators strongly believe stick and rudder experience gained by flying taildraggers will make you a much better pilot; a belief shared by many pilots worldwide. In addition to providing its members with aircraft for personal transportation and recreation, Bowman Eagles promotes aviation with young people primarily through the EAA Young Eagles program. The Bowman Eagle taildraggers are a common site at all EAA Chapter 110 Young Eagle Rally events. If you would enjoy flying in and out of the many grass strips in this area of the country, check out Bowman Eagles and this very active group of aviators.
